Jürgen Keiper |  | |
Jürgen Keiper has served as editor to the journal,
Film und Kritik, since 1992. From 1993 to 1997, he was a research associate
at the Institute for Theatre, Film and Media Studies at the J.W. Goethe University in
Frankfurt am Main. In 1997 he moved to the German Film Institute. There, his
responsibilities included the IST COLLATE project (Collaboratory for Annotation,
Indexing and Retrieval of Digitised Historical Archival Material, 2000-2003);
filmportal.de, 2003-2006; and MIDAS, 2005-2006. He served as convenor of the
"standardisation working group for filmographic entries on an European level",
in co-operation with CEN, the European Committee for Standardisation, 2005-2006.
He has frequently taught and offered lectures and expert opinions on topics related to
film and new media. In 2006 he joined the Deutsche Kinemathek - Museum für Film und
Fernsehen (Museum for Film and Television), where he is responsible for LOST FILMS and
the development of collaborative systems.

Werner Sudendorf was born is 1950. An historian of film, he heads
collections at the Deutsche Kinemathek - Museum für Film und Fernsehen (Museum for Film and
Television). He is the editor and author of diverse publications on German film history.
