Teresa Malo de Molina, born in 1961 in Cádiz (Spain) holds
the degree of Hispanic Philology by the Complutense Universiy of Madrid.
In 1983, she began to work at the library of the Universidad de Salamanca as assistant
librarian. In 1985, she promoted and began to work at the National Library as Chief of
the Golden Age Section. After working in the National Council of Research (CSIC) as Chief
of the Professional Coordination Section, in the Libraries Coordination Unit., she
started to work as Deputy Librarian in the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where she
also leads the Unit of Information Resources Management (GRI). Since 2005, she is the
Technical Director of the Spanish National Library.
She is very active at different professional forums. She has been librarianship
associated professor at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and participates as teacher
very frequently at different professional training activities. Al last, she has written
several publications, some articles in Spanish and American serials.
