Dr. Andrea Rapp

Dr. Andrea Rapp directs the Competency Centre for Electronic Cataloguing and Publishing in the Humanities at the University of Trier. Born in 1963, she studied German language and literature at the University of Trier. From 1990 to 2002, she was a research associate in Collaborative Research Centre 235 entitled "Between the Maas and the Rhine" and in the Competency Centre for Electronic Cataloguing and Publishing in the Humanities at the University of Trier. In 2002 she received a fellowship from the German Research Foundation (DFG) to work on her postdoctoral lecture qualification, the Habilitation. In 2003 and 2004, she directed the Goettingen Digitisation Centre at Goettingen State and University Library. In September 2004 she became academic councillor in the department of German and old German philology, as well as director of the Competency Centre in Trier.
