Marius Snyders |  | |
Marius Snyders (1973) is employed by the European Commission
DG Information Society as expert in the context of the European Digital Library policy
development. Before entering the European Commission in 2005 he has worked for 7 years
as senior policy advisor to the Dutch national government in the areas of ICT and
digitisation. In that capacity he led the design of a national digitisation policy and
large funding scheme. Prior to that, Marius worked for various large publishers where
he got involved in internet publishing strategy development for the first time. Marius
has an academic background in geography and political science.
